The GLTA has written to Governments in Europe and the European Gay and Lesbian  Sports Federation to ask for action following horrific events in Kiev. If we needed a wake up call to recognize that the LGBT community is constantly under threat, this is one of those moments.The Ukraine is sanctioned to host a prestigious event, the European Football Championships, whilst doing less than nothing to protect its citizens from vicious attacks. We are a small organization, but we believe sport is a powerful tool.
